After a moment of reflection about the music he's been creating since 18 years, Nick Kortex decided to reorganize his discography step by step. The Stone Grooves album is the first to display because year 2004 were a nice period where his musical project began important. Above film making and theatre acting music was about to become a way of life. Also, do not worry, the albums will come back with a more efficient way of creating/recreating them.

As you can see, I keep thinking about you. I don't forget my work. Sure, the influence of The Orb, Moodymann, and Soiree Records International stay on my mind and I'm out of joy to present you the new Where's My Baby ? album. 2010 was a liberating year. I understood the way of finding the ideas to create tracks, very inspired by Detroit. My senses            don't stop pushing me further. Many thanks to those who support my work. And more to come... Experiment...

Emotion comes when Vocal House gets you. Mind Vision is a collection of these songs witch take you where belongs your heart. My mission is to tell a story with my music leading to our emotional future. Chicago and Detroit House are my main influences on this album. 2014-2015 was a strange year to me. I wasn't using my artist name but my real one. It was bizarre and scaring. I need Nick Kortex as to protect me. That's why Mind Vision is so special. It's an musical utopia...To share and to enjoy ... Together ...

Disko Jazz is a mix between House and electro Jazz, Acid Jazz also. Created in 2008, this album is full of classic rhythms and vibes. At this moment, the electro Jazz movement was growing. I was influenced by the sound of the 50's, the sound of the late 70's, and the early 2000 electro Jazz explosion, the House movement also obviously. It's a nightlife work, and my clubbing experiences were important to create this album. Strangely, Disko Jazz has been defined like my main album at this time. Today, I'd say that it's a part of my works without conclusion. Clubbers, get your feet on the floor and try it ... It's a never-ending party tonight...

2011 has been a special year... I wanted to create an album with the sound of the late 70's and the sound of Detroit House and Techno. That's why the Alpha Disco album is so puristic. I've been also influenced by Los Angeles with the nice collaboration with Racquel from Studio Pro. At this time, I was overjoyed to feature a spoken word artist. Besides, I wrote the lyrics of the Jungle 33 track myself. My admiration for Kate Moss led me to create the retro futuristic Alpha Disco track. Even if I did create a video with a photography of her for "Flash 4 U" from the Disko Jazz Album. I also made a new mix for the Colored Girl track witch is a Funkytown echo and a Maria Carey/Kenny Dope inspiration.

"Good Luck" is a French Electro Pop album. 2005 was a year where I was experimenting many genres. It's the U.F.O. of my discography and has been released in 2006. This album is dedicated to French Language. I created it in a few months by writing the music first then the French lyrics. At this time I was influenced by French Pop artists such as Georges Brassens and Carla Bruni ("Paternité Rêvée"), but also Françoise Hardy ("Goûtez à la Vie"). For the last track, I used the French theatre play that I wrote between 2001 and 2003 named "Absent". By producing the videos by myself the only option was to shoot one playback sequence and to add special effects after. The result is a kaleidoscope of different themes like love, drug's dangers, family... Different visions I couldn't leave behind. Enjoy !

2016 is memorable to me cause of the release of the "Time Warp" album and for my connection with Exposed Vocals. For the first time of my independent artist's life somebody wrote reviews about my music (I thanks Rebecca Cullen for her great work with 2 of my tracks). Furthermore, I've been played on Kiss FM 104.7 with the "Jet House" track (unreleased for the moment). It was my year. The "Time Warp" album is a compilation of what define my sound. I publish it again in 2017 for you to get into my inner world. I'd add that the "My Ray of Light" track is a special dedication to an artist witch did inspire me since the beginning of my childhood, I mean Madonna. But that's another story...Thanks again for supporting my work. Take a listen and you won't be disappointed by "Time Warp".

2017 has been a creative year. Here is a new single witch is dedicated to the city of Detroit, Michigan. As lots of influences for my music come from this place, "Good Morning Detroit" expresses my gratitude toward this highly inspiring city.

Electro Hip Hop - Single is a UFO. It's an instrumental track. I was very influenced by Nu-Jazz. 2018 is full of surprises on a creative point. I hope that you will enjoy it.
